Software Mansoft sets up second resource centre in Pune Our Bureau Pune, Aug. 22 Mansoft, an IT solutions provider and a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Doha-based Mannai Corporation, has set up its second resource centre in Pune. The first centre has been operational in Mumbai for the past two years. Talking to presspersons, Mr Atul Pradhan, Managing Director, Mansoft, said the Pune centre would be engaged in back-end development, architecting and configuring of business solutions and would support the delivery of business solutions and technology training to its team as well as clients. He said that the Pune centre would undertake the development of event management system, which would look at the management of the commercial part of the event as well as the result system of any event. It had supported the Doha Asian Games in 2006. The centre is located at the SP Infocity, an IT/ITES SEZ at Phursungi. The centre would house over 400 professionals in the next 12 months. He said under its expansion plan, it is planning to enter segments such as real estate where it would provide property development and management solutions. It already has presence in segments such as BFI (banking, finance and insurance) and MRD (manufacturing, retail and distribution) in the Gulf countries. Headquartered in Qatar, and with a presence in Gulf countries such as the UAE (Dubai) and Bahrain, it is now entering the Sultanate of Oman. More Stories on : Software
