Titan plans more Eye Plus showrooms

Our Bureau

Visakhapatnam, Aug. 24 Titan Industries Ltd, which has forayed into eyewear business, is planning to open at least 80 Titan Eye Plus showrooms in the country by the end of the financial year, according to Mr. Yashwanth Kumar, the Head (Retail).

At present, the company has 25 showrooms.

After the inauguration of the first showroom here on Sunday, he told reporters that the entry of the company would bring about a sea change in the eyewear industry, as in watches and jewellery. He said the customer had little choice at present in the unorganised market and there was a great need to sell branded products.

At every Titan Eye Plus showroom, he said, the customer could be sure of zero-error eye testing facility, the right frames confirming to international styles and designs, warranty for all products, and style consultancy.
