Floriculture States - Kerala Anthurium exhibition in Kochi Kochi, Aug. 24 The Ernakulam District Agri Horticultural Society is organising the first international anthurium exhibition here from September 6 to 10 to coincide with the Onam festival show to be conducted by the district administration. The prime objective of the show is to promote anthurium cultivation on a commercial basis in the State, development in the area of flower decoration, creation of job opportunities, marketing of flowers, etc. The show, to be organised in association with National Horticultural Board and Department of Agriculture, will be held at the Maharajas College Centenary Hall. Mr D. Radhakrishnan, General Secretary of the society, said that more than 20,000 anthurium flowers will be showcased, including imported ones. . - Our Bureau More Stories on : Floriculture | Kerala
