Singapore Airlines is to start showing the ‘Incredible India’ campaign video on its 58 weekly flights operating to India, a senior airline officer said on Monday.

“The video will be played as the flight arrives into India and should catch the eyeball of all the passengers.

We will also explore the possibility of expanding its reach and showing it on the airline’s global network,” the General Manager, India, Mr C.W. Foo, said at a press conference.

Airline officials estimate that the inflight video will garner the eyeball of over six lakh individual per annum.

The ‘Incredible India’ is an initiative of the Ministry of Tourism to promote the country as a tourist destination.

The campaign uses visuals showcasing the country’s diversity in terms of geography, heritage, culture and cuisine.

Addressing the conference, the Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Ms Leena Nandan, said that the Ministry was also in talks with several other international airlines to play the Incredible India video on their services here.
