Enterprise Resource Planning Money & Banking - Public Sector Banks Industry & Economy - Education IDenizen ties up with Corporation Bank Our Bureau Bangalore, Aug. 27 IDenizen, a local IT company, has announced that it has entered into a tie-up with Corporation Bank for extending the benefits of SmartCampus, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)-based suite for educational institutions,to college students. . The Visa-branded RFID campus card can be used through more than 1,000 ATMs of Corporation Bank and over the Internet. It can also be used to access 25,000 ATMs and 12 lakh merchants in the country. Mr Girish Baliga, Founder and Managing Director of IDenizen, said SmartCampus card is a comprehensive product that automates most campus activities such as admission processes to payment of fees to library automation to examinations to payroll and hostel management. More than 60,000 students in 60 colleges are already using the card. The infrastructure cost of the system is recovered through an annual subscription of Rs 700 to Rs 1,000 paid by the students. Mr Baliga said the product will be offered only through Corporation Bank. IDenizen plans to enhance the scope of the usage of SmartCampus for mobile banking once the RBI issues the necessary guidelines.
