PVP Ventures unit sells property

Chennai, Aug. 28

PVP Ventures’ subsidiary AGS Hotels & Resorts Pvt Ltd has sold its Hotel Ooty Villa Park to Mahindra Holiday and Resorts India, as a going concern, for a consideration of Rs 33 crore. Officials in PVP Ventures, the Hyderabad-based company, said that it is selling off its non-core assets and businesses to focus on urban infrastructure, including real estate and energy. The funds from the sale would be used to repay the debts of PVP Ventures, which aims to be a deb t-free company by the year-end. PVP Ventures has over Rs 100 crore debt.
