Maytas Infra gets WEF membership

Hyderabad, Aug. 28

Maytas Infra Ltd, the Hyderabad-based infrastructure company backed by the promoters of Satyam Computer Services, has joined the exclusive club of World Economic Forum. “We have been given membership in Global Growth Company (GCC) of WEF. We are going to take part in the upcoming WEF meet in China,” Dr Srini Reddy, Head of Corporate Strategy and Leadership (Maytas Holdings), told Business Line. The GCC comprises about 200 companies from acros s the country that have great potential to grow in the future. The membership in this elite club is given to companies after scrutinising their applications against broad parameters such as performance and business strategies. He said Mr Teja Raju, Vice-Chairman of Maytas, would represent the company in the China summit. “We will have a great opportunity in learning from leading players and intellectuals from across the country. We will also share our expertise to them,” he said.
