Jewellers' meet in Mangalore

Mangalore, Aug. 29

Corporation Bank conducted a jewellers' meet in Mangalore on Thursday. A bank release said here on Friday that Mr M. Narendra, Chief General Manager of the bank, who inaugurated the meet, discussed the bullion trade and the economic situation in the country especially with relation to increase in interest rates and inflation. He called upon the jewellers to avail of the easy credit facility for their working capital requirements. Mr U. Balakrishna Bhat, General Manager of the bank, spoke on gold loan scheme, gold deposit scheme and loan under SME scheme to bullion merchants. - Our Bureau
