Hyderabad, Aug. 31

The Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of the Osmania Graduates’ Association (OGA) was inaugurated by the Union Minister for Urban Development, Mr S. Jaipal Reddy and Home Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr K. Jana Reddy, here on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion the Union Urban Development Minister urged to association spread their activities in the rural areas of Telangana. “There is also a need to focus on teaching of modern sciences with a right mix of humanities to broaden mental horizons,” Mr Reddy said. While presenting the Secretary’s Report of the Dr T.V. Gopala Chari said that obtaining autonomous status for the Institutions set up by the OGA for initiating diversification in different job and market oriented courses is under consideration. —
