‘Market adaptability is the key’

New Delhi, Aug. 31 Adapting to the markets while innovating was the mantra shared by Mr Apurv Nagpal, Marketing Director, Sab Miller (India), citing the transformation the company did in the flavour of the its beer brand to be accepted by Mexican tradition.

He was talking at the annual marketing summit organised at the International Management Institute attended by industry bigwigs such as Mr Samik Dasgupta (Vice-President, Yes Bank), Mr Rahul Goel (National Sales Head, Sony Ericsson), and Mr Vishal Bhatia, (Vice-President, Pepsi), among others.

Challenges

The summit touched upon different challenges faced by marketers, including innovation and pricing.

According to the National Head of Xerox India, Mr Princy Bhatnagar, the shifting competitive landscapes exerted pressure on companies to bring about innovation in brand building.
