P&G net up at 84%

Mumbai, Sept. 1

Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd (PGHHCL) has recorded an 84 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 23.2 crore (Rs 12.6 crore) for the quarter ending June 30. Sales turnover grew at 20 per cent at Rs 150 crore (Rs 126.4). Mr Bharat V. Patel, Chairman, said, " Our focus on driving superior quality and value, product innovations, insightful marketing programmes, strong trade plans, and expanded distribution have helped us to stay as market leaders in the categories we compete in. We will continue to stay focused on creating clutter breaking and consumer meaningful marketing programmes, while investing in enhanced organisation capabilities that help deliver these plans." - Our Bureau
