Transport Corporation to invest Rs 200 cr in 2 years

New Delhi, Sept. 5 Transport Corporation of India (TCI) on Thursday said it will invest Rs 200 crore over the next two years, while announcing the launch of its new corporate logo and brand line. This year the company has completed 50 years of service, it said in a release.

Mr D.P. Agarwal, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, said, “We aim to be an Rs 2,000-crore organisation with the major focus on taking our supply chain solutions globally.

The company plans to invest Rs 200 crore in the next two years for purchase of ships and trucks and construction of warehouses, besides opening offices in various countries across globe. We are also targeting to accomplish a year-on-year growth of 20-25 per cent,” he further added.
