Mangalore, Sept. 6

Mr T.R. Bhat, Chairman of Corporation Bank Officers’ Organisation (CBOO), has been appointed by the Government of India as director, representing officers, on the board of Corporation Bank. A press release by the CBOO said here on Saturday that his appointment is effective from September 4 for a period up to December 31, 2009. Mr Bhat is also the Joint General Secretary of All-India Bank Officers’ Confederation, the release added.
