TMB opens 205th branch

Madurai, Sept. 7

Tuticorin-based Tamilnad Mercantile Bank has opened its 205th branch, fully-computerised with ATM facility at Shahdara, Delhi, recently. Speaking on the occasion, the Managing Director and CEO, Mr G. Narayana Moorthy, said that the bank planned to achieve total business of Rs 16,500 crore during the current financial year. Permission has been obtained to open 17 new branches. Of these, 5 branches have been opened so far and the remaining branches would be opened shortly, h e added. —
