Kochi, Sept. 8

The Ernakulam District Collector, Dr M. Beena, has opened the showroom of Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation Ltd (KSIC), a fully owned Government of Karnataka undertaking at ‘My Kingdom’, here at M.G. Road. She also inaugurated the special exhibition-cum-sale of the corporation in connection with Onam. This will be the second showroom of KSIC in the State. It has another showroom in Thiruvananthapuram. KSIC showcases elegant designer collection of Crepe de chine sarees, Kasuti Embroidery sarees, georgettes and plain printed sarees, salvar sets, tops, ties etc. The company also introduced Kerala Sarees, wedding collection sarees under the name of ‘Threads of Gold’. A special discount offer of 10 per cent in all our products along with a surprise gift will be made available to customers with every purchase, Mr P.Vijayan, Managing Director, KSIC, said.
