Hyderabad, Sept. 11 Dataline Online Infotech Inc would shortly come out with a travel and tourism directory covering 40 countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

“It will be a comprehensive database on the getaways and information on hotels, transport and shopping areas in all these countries,” said Mr Shafi Ur Rahman, Managing Director.

Addressing a press conference here after releasing a tourism and travel directory of Andhra Pradesh, Mr Shafi said the directory, available both in digital and book versions, would be distributed free of cost at all the Indian embassies across the world.

“We get revenues from the advertisers and that’s how we are able to give the CDs and books free of cost. The directory would have a host of information on the tourist spots, packages, hotels and art and crafts in different regions,” he said. It also opened a portal ( www.aptourismdirectory.com) to help the travellers from across the globe access the directory. “We will keep on updating the information periodically,” Mr Shafi added.
