Outlook States - Karnataka Metropolis to invest Rs 20 cr more in Karnataka Our Bureau Bangalore, Sept. 12 Diagnostics chain Metropolis Health Services (I) Ltd on Friday announced plans to invest another Rs 10-20 crore in Karnataka over the next five years. It also opened its partnership with the city-based R.V Diagnostic Laboratory. Ms Ameera Patel, Executive Director, Metropolis, said, “We have made approximately Rs 10 crore worth of investments in Karnataka and plan to invest another Rs 10-20 crore in the coming five years. At present there are 5-10 collection centres which should increase to another 30-40.” Plans more centresThe chain, promoted by Dr Sushil Shah and Dr G. S. K. Velu, is present in Bangalore and Mangalore. In the coming years, it plans to expand to Hubli, Belgaum, Mysore and Hosur, said Dr Velu, Managing Director. The venture with the 19-year-old RV Diagnostics will provide 3,600 routine, highly specialised tests including the four new packages introduced by Metropolis. They include Home Health and wellness solutions. Dr Ravi Kumar H.
