Software Logistics - Software Web Extras - Supply Chain Management Arval of France to deploy SunTec suite Our Bureau Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 16 Arval of France, a leading player in operational leasing and the vehicle fleet and fuel management space, will deploy a product suite from SunTec to bill their customer services. Arval is a BNP Paribas company with operations across 39 countries specialising in operational leasing and managing multi-brand corporate vehicles and fuel cards. SunTec, based here, provides convergent transaction pricing and billing solutions for the communication, media and entertainment sector, relationship-based pricing and centralised billing solutions for the banking, financial services and insurance sector and advanced meter-data management and billing solutions for utilities. Arval is seeking to replace its legacy system with a robust architecture to promote growth and customer satisfaction while harmonising information systems. All billing processes spread currently across several systems and countries will now be integrated onto a single platform. The project implementation will span all Arval major entities and will be carried out in phases. The billing module will initially cover the French territory and subsequently expanded to include other subsidiaries. SunTec’s TBMS-F suite will provide the core billing application to Arval under which all charges would be consolidated and sent for printing as per profiles of over 50,000 customers. It will replace all existing invoice generation processes for most European operations. “The TBMS-F suits our needs, and we are looking forward to become a one-stop-shop for ‘flexible vehicle mobility solutions’ tailored to companies of all sizes and thus optimise client relations,” said Mr François Salzédo, Manager for the core renewal programme at Arval. “SunTec is foraying into a new domain under the financial services umbrella. A leading operational-leasing and fleet management company finding TBMS-F capable for meeting the requirements of invoice generation for business around the globe is a strong testimony to its versatility,” said Mr Nanda Kumar, CEO.
