New head for PNB Tiruchi circle

Tiruchi, Sept. 17 Mr S.M. Veerappan, Assistant General Manager, Punjab National Bank, recently assumed charge as head of the bank’s Tiruchi circle.

The circle accounted for 67 branches of the bank across 22 districts. It includes 16 rural branches and 24 semi-urban branches.

About 4,000 self-help groups have been financially assisted by the bank in Tiruchi circle, a press release from Mr Veerappan said.

Financial inclusion projects have been undertaken in 13 districts in this circle. In south India all the branches of the bank have been brought under CBS.
