Coimbatore, Sept. 18 Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd has said that pursuant to an order of the High Court of Judicature at Madras, a meeting of the equity shareholders of the company will be convened on October 17 for the purpose of considering, and if thought fit approving with or without modification, the Scheme of Amalgamation of Eswar Cements Pvt Ltd with the company.

Ramco Systems Ltd, with reference to the company’s proposed rights issue up to Rs 130.55 crore with detachable warrants, has approved issue of one detachable warrant for every two rights equity shares allotted to the shareholders/applicants (1:2), which is convertible into one equity share at the option of the warrant holders. If equity shares allotted on rights basis is less than 2 or is not in multiples of 2, then any shortfall in the warrants, required on account of rounding off to the next higher integer, would be adjusted against warrant entitlement of promoter / promoter group. The warrant exercise price is Rs 85 an equity share and the warrant exercise period shall be a period commencing from and up to 18 months from the date of allotment of warrants. The total amount for all the warrants is Rs 65.27 crore and subject to the approval of the Stock Exchanges/other necessary approvals, the warrants are intended to be listed in the BSE, NSE and MSE.

Trading in equity shares of REI Agro Ltd shall be suspended w.e.f. September 22 (i.e. closing hours of trading on September 19) on account of Scheme of Arrangement.

Pratibha Industries Ltd has secured a contract for design, construction etc of water supply scheme along with ancillary work from Delhi Jal Board valued Rs 156 crore. Godawari Power & Ispat Ltd has informed that its subsidiary Godawari Power Ltd has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chhattisgarh Government on September 17 for setting-up a 1000 MW thermal power project.
