SECR's e-procurement system

Kolkata, Sept. 19

South East Central Railway (SECR), the largest freight loading zonal railway, has launched e-procurement system (EPS) from Friday, according to a SECR press release. SECR will upload the tender documents for supply of stores and will open online bids received from the vendors who will be able to access tender documents and submit their bids online. Inaugurating the system, Mr Pradeep Kumar, General Manager of SECR, said the successful implementation of EPS would help reap SECR the benefit of latest technology for quick processing and settlement of tenders, which in turn would go a long way in ensuring improved availability of materials to the Railways. - Our Bureau
