Freescale pact to buy Intoto

Hyderabad, Sept. 21 Freescale Semiconductor has signed an agreement to purchase Intoto Inc, a provider of software platform products for networking and communications equipment manufacturers.

Based in California, Intoto has a development centre in Hyderabad.

According to a statement, Freescale intends to apply Intoto’s technology and resources to create applications and software components optimised to improve system performance, streamline development and enhance software support for multi-core communications platforms.

The transaction is expected to close within the next 30 days. Terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
