Research & Development ILS, Aptuit Laurus to collaborate in drug discovery Our Bureau Hyderabad, Sept 22 The Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Hyderabad and Aptuit Laurus have entered into an agreement for research collaboration in the drug research and discovery programmes.As part of this collaboration, both ILS and Aptuit Laurus would provide expertise to each other and work in the area of metabolic disorders like diabetes. ILS will also provide incubation and training in the initial phase of the collaboration. Commenting on the research collaboration Dr Javed Iqbal, Director, ILS said: “This collaboration is part of our ongoing efforts to enter into research partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.” ``We are interested in collaborating with Institutes of eminence worldwide and this research collaboration with ILS is one such step,” Dr Satyanarayana, CEO of Aptuit Laurus said.
