Our Bureau

Ahmedabad, Sept. 24 Intech Systems, an IT firm specialising in developing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics’ ERP solutions, has announced the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics’ IT solutions for John Energy Ltd, an industry leader operating 20 rigs for oil and gas exploration.

The solution is based on Microsoft Dynamics’ Navision, a cost-effective business management solution for companies. The ERP solution will help John Energy meet its expansion needs and streamline its current business processes, according to a press release here.

Monitoring operations at 20 rigs spread across the country was proving to be a challenge for John Energy Ltd. Intech Systems used Microsoft Dynamics Navision to meet the company’s critical requirements. Besides other components, a tailor-made jobs and resources module was created, a Daily Production Record was implemented at each rig, while data feeding was undertaken at the sites where the rigs are operational.

With the implementation of Navision, John Energy can now monitor the entire operation from their headquarters at Ahmedabad. “The deployment of Navision enabled John Energy to quickly automate their key processes, and created a platform for business growth within five months,” said Mr Ashok C. Mehta, Managing Director, Intech Systems Pvt Ltd.

With the implementation of Navision, John Energy can now look at real time monitoring of business data, critical in taking quick business decisions in line with market conditions and the integration of operations between various departments, it added.
