Chennai, Sept. 24

The UK-based advertising agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) has announced the launch of BBH Mumbai, India. The office will open on November 17 with Managing Partners, Ms Priti Nair, Mr Subhash Kamath and Mr Partha Sinha at the helm.

BBH Mumbai is the latest opening in BBH’s independent network. With headquarters in London, the agency has offices in North America, Latin America and Asia, says a press release from the agency.

BBH’s global clients have been increasing their presence in India in recent years. Although the agency has produced some campaigns for India out of its Singapore office, the agency says that the bigger opportunity creatively and commercially merited presence within India.

Ms Nair joins from Grey Worldwide where she was National Creative Director. Throughout her career, Ms Nair has worked on over 40 brands including Greenply, Camlin, and Idea Cellular. Mr Kamath joins from Bates 141 India where he was Group CEO. He led the group through three mergers and acquisitions over the past three-and-a-half years and transformed the agency into a robust business. Mr Sinha joins from Publicis where he was the Chief Strategy Officer for South East Asia. Mr Sinha has worked with Zee Telefilms as Director of Marketing and Strategy and Ogilvy as Vice-President (Planning).
