Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 25 The Kochi-based Dhathri Ayurveda Pvt Ltd is setting up a chain of wellness clinics.

Speaking at a press conference in the city on Thursday, Dr S. Sajikumar, Managing Director, Dhathri Ayurveda Pvt Ltd said that the first ‘Dhathri abs Clinic’ will be opened in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday. By mid-October, the company will open its second clinic, which will be in Kochi. Also on the cards are clinics in Chennai and Hyderabad, he added.

The company also plans to start wellness clinics outside the country, he said. The first clinic outside India will be in Dubai and is scheduled to open by December this year.

According to Dr Sajikumar the ‘Dhathri abs Clinic’ will offer a range of ayurvedic treatments, beauty care procedures and weight loss or slimming programmes. In fact the ‘abs’ in the clinic’s name is drawn from ‘ayurveda, beauty and slimming’. All three offerings will be under the guidance of ayurveda doctors.
