Federal Bank treasury in Mumbai

Kochi, Sept. 25 The treasury department of Federal Bank, which was functioning from Kochi has been shifted to its new own premises in Mumbai. The department started functioning at the new premises from this week, a press release issued here said. The entire gamut of treasury operations, both domestic and forex, is to be carried out from the Mumbai office. Presence in the Mumbai market will enable the bank to offer more efficient services and highly competitive exchange rates, especially to export/ import clients, the bank pointed out. For the benefit of clients in South India a forex dealing desk has been retained at Kochi, the release said. - Our Bureau
