Seminar on operations excellence

Pune, Sept. 26

S ymbiosis Institute of Operations Management (SIOM), Nashik, is hosting a national seminar on operations excellence, Tattv ’08, on October 4 and 5. The theme of the event to be held in Nashik is Strategic Foresight – the Power of Envisioning the Future. SIOM has been organising Tattv as its flagship B-school event for the last two years in line with its philosophy of “Empowering Operations Excellence”. It provides a platform to address issues, tools and technologies and focuses on dimensions of business operations. The objective is to obtain insights into how the three major business elements – people, process and technology – could be strategically and operationally interlaced to achieve the organisation’s goals and to understand the organisations’ role as a strategic business partner and agent of change, an official release has said. – Our Bureau
