V-Guard to launch building wiring products

Bangalore, Sept. 29 V-Guard Industries will soon be launching building wiring products in the North, sourcing 50 per cent of the additional capacity created in its new factory in Kashipur in Uttaranchal.

It has invested Rs 25 on the Kashipur plant. LT cables is a new product in the portfolio.

Mr Mithun Chittilapilly, Executive Director, V-Guard Industries, said that with the southern States witnessing a real estate boom, the company had to go in for additional capacity, while it also embarked upon LT cables with a manufacturing facility in Coimbatore. V-Guard will concentrate on the southern market for its cables product. With southern States registering a significant share in the overall 25 per cent growth in demand for LT cables, the company would focus in its marketing the product in the region.
