Aksh Optifibre Ltd has entered into a three-year agreement with Sony Pictures Entertainment to bring Hollywood content for icontrol (Aksh’s IPTV Service) for its viewers. This is the first agreement to bring Hollywood content on the regular television viewing. This service allows viewers to control television programmes according to their convenience with more than 130 channels.

Dynamatic Technologies Ltd has acquired a 12 MW wind farm at Coimbatore from Tamilnadu Petroproducts Ltd. The wind farm will generate approximately 18 million units of power annually. This acquisition will enable Dynamatic to achieve 85 per cent reduction in monthly energy costs at its Chennai complex and combat energy-price inflation in future.

Shipping Corporation Of India Ltd, with reference to the issuance of bonus shares in the ratio of 1: 2, has fixed October 31 as the record date.

Suzlon Energy Ltd’s Board of Directors has approved the rights issue of equity shares to a maximum extent of Rs 1,800 crore. The terms and conditions of the rights issue — including the rights entitlement ratio, the issue price, record date, etc. — would be announced by the Board in due course. The Board approved execution of Subscription Agreement, Shareholders’ Agreement and such other deeds and documents to facilitate IDFC Private Equity to invest in SE Forge Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, to an extent of Rs 400 crore in the form of equity shares aggregating to 17.1 per cent of the share capital of SE Forge, pursuant to which the company’s (SEL’s) shareholding in SE Forge would be reduced to 82.9 per cent.
