MindTree board clears Aztec deal

Bangalore, Sept. 29

R&D and IT services provider MindTree Ltd said on Monday its Board of Directors approved the scheme of amalgamation of Aztecsoft Ltd with the company at its meeting held on September 26. The company said the board has approved the swap ratio of two shares of MindTree of Rs 10 each be allotted for every 11 shares of Rs 3 each of Aztecsoft.

In May, 2008, MindTree had said it would buy a majority stake of 32.57 per cent in Aztecsoft from its largest shareholders, e4e Holdings Ltd, for Rs 80 per share. The company had also said it would begin the process of integration after the open offer closes. - Our Bureau
