Bharathan Pillai re-elected CEPC Chairman

Kochi, Oct. 1 Mr P. Bharathan Pillai of Asiatic Export Enterprises, Kollam, has been unanimously re-elected as the Chairman of the Cashew Export Promotion Council of India at the 544th Meeting of the committee of administration held at Kollam on Monday.

This is his eighth term as the Chairman of the council, an official release here said.

Mr Harikrishnan R. Nair of Western India Cashew Company, Kollam, was unanimously re-elected as the Vice-Chairman of the council. This is his second term as Vice-Chairman.

At the meeting, five members were elected to the committee of administration. Mr Anu S. Pillai of Anu Cashews, Kollam; Mr Parameswaran Bharathan of Quilon Export Enterprises, Kollam; Mr M.A. Anzar of Abbas Cashew Company, Kollam; Mr P. Sundaran of Sreelekshmi Cashew Company, Kollam; and Mr K. Prabhakar Mallar of Mallar Exports Pvt Ltd, Mangalore, found places on the panel.
