New Railway Board member

New Delhi, Oct 1

Mr Shri Prakash on Wednesday took over as the Member, Traffic, Railway Board. He replaces Mr V.N. Mathur who retired on Tuesday. Mr Prakash, who was the General Manager in Northern Railways, is an officer of 1972 batch of Indian Railway Traffic Service. He has served in various capacities in the Indian Railway network including advisor (infrastructure) Railway Board; divisional railway manager, Dhanbad; and executive director of Traffic Transport in the Railway board amon g others, said an official release. —
