TiE meet in Bangalore

Our Bureau

Coimbatore, Oct. 3 The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) is organising a TiE Entrepreneurial Summit (TES 2008) at Bangalore from December 16 to provide a platform to entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, the academia and stake holders from various industries and verticals to interact. The three-day event would be spread over 50 sessions.

This year’s edition would involve a wider segment of entrepreneurs and would be more global. The summit would provide an opportunity to people from diverse sectors such as retail, real estate, hospitality, health care, media and entertainment and manufacturing to come together.

Special sessions will allow foreign delegations and foreign trade and technology development boards to participate in the Global Exchange Programme.

The theme of TES 2008 is Inclusive Entrepreneurship. There will be a greater emphasis on manufacturing, social entrepreneurship and clean technology, which are hot topics in today’s start-up space, which will appeal to much more diverse audiences than before, according to a press release issued by TiE.
