Convergys to add 2,500 agents

New Delhi, Oct. 6

BPO company Convergys Corporation on Monday announced plans to ramp-up its contact centre operations in India by adding 2,500 agents by the end of the year. The new hiring comes on the back of growing relationship with 4-5 clients in the telecom, technology, auto retail and BFSI space. "Companies are turning to Convergys in India to provide their customers with a strong customer experience, and quality that consistently meets and exceeds their expectations," Mr Sukant Srivastava, Managing Director and Country Manager for Convergys' Customer Management business in India, said. Convergys currently operates from its facilities in New Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore, and employs over 13,000 employees in India. The operations include technical help desk services along with customer support for Fortune 1000 companies in financial services, communications, consumer products, and other industries. - Our Bureau
