CII seminar on Reach

Kochi, Oct. 7

T he Confederation of Indian Industry is organising a seminar on registration, evaluation and authorisation of chemicals (Reach), which is a new regulatory framework of the EU Commission aimed at improving the protection of human health and the environment through the better and earlier identification of chemical substances. Under this system, all EU producers and importers will have to perform a chemical safety assessment of their products and will have to provide information to their customers in the supply chain. Accordingly, all exporters of dyes, chemicals and cosmetics will have to obtain registration. – Our Bureau
