Bank of India has won the Best Public Sector Bank Award at the third NDTV Profit Business Leadership Awards 2008. The bank’s Chairman and Managing Director, Mr T.S. Narayanasami, received the award at the hands of the Union Finance Minister, Mr P.Chidambaram, here on Monday. Axis Bank received the Best Bank Award in the private sector category. The awards recognise organisations that had performed exceptionally well in the context of the country’s economic grow th.
