Rasi Seeds' R&D centre

Coimbatore, Oct. 9

Attur-based Rasi Seed's Biotech and Plant Breeding research facility is to be inaugurated on October 10.

Established on an investment of Rs 10 crore on the Attur- Kallakurichy highway in Salem district, the centre, according to a communication, would focus on development of multi-crop seeds such as maize, paddy, wheat, sunflower, vegetables and cotton.

The Rs 400-crore Rasi Seeds is planning to place 150 agri-scientists to focus on the activities of this R&D centre. - Our Bureau
