Hyderabad in BA route network

Our Bureau

Hyderabad, Oct. 10 British Airways will be launching its services from Hyderabad beginning December 7. The UK airline has already started marketing the destination.

“The launch of this new route allows us to offer the only non-stop service between Hyderabad and London,” an airline communication said.

At present, the airline covers five Indian destinations of Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata. The adding of Hyderabad on BA’s route network would mean better connectivity to the destinations in the US and Canada.

Meanwhile, Menzies Aviation Plc has said that it bagged the cargo, passenger and ramp handling contracts from BA to its joint venture in Hyderabad.
