DuPont launches insecticide

Hyderabad, Oct. 11

DuPont Crop Protection has launched Coragen, an insect control product, in the Indian market. “Coragen will initially be sold as an effective and integral part of pest management programmes for the farmers growing paddy, sugarcane, cotton, cabbage and cauliflower,” Mr Ram K. Mudhokar, Business Director (South Asia) of DuPont Crop Protection, said. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday to announce the launch, he said the product would be marketed from N ovember. “Coragen would protect all the friendly insects and worms, while offering cost-effective protection from all the harmful insects,” he said. The company would later enhance the scope to cover pulses, soyabean, pigeon-pea and other vegetables. —
