Insurance-linked CUB savings plans

Coimbatore, Oct. 13

City Union Bank has, in association with Life Insurance Corporation of India, introduced two new insurance linked savings scheme. Of the two, CUB Excel is a savings scheme offering a maximum life cover of Rs one lakh under the group insurance scheme of LIC and CUB Apoorva is a recurring deposit scheme for a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 5 years with amounts ranging from Rs 100 a month up to Rs 10,000/month. The regular term premiums under both the schemes would be lo wer as these come under LIC’s group insurance scheme, a note from CUB said.
