“Overall, this shows that Nilgiri tea offers have quality and buyers are prepared to support them with high-bids”, an auctioneer told Business Line on Tuesday.

High-bid bracket

Homedale Tea Factory’s five marks, auctioned by Global Tea Brokers, remained in the high-bid bracket. Four marks of Darmona Estate, auctioned by J Thomas & Co, remained in this bracket – RD and SRD, Rs 120 each, BOPF Rs 115 and BP Rs 105.
