TIFR to open second campus in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Oct. 14 Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) is looking at opening its second campus in Hyderabad with a projected investment of over Rs 2,500 crore to be put in over a period of 12-15 years.

A release from the Chief Minister’s Office issued on Tuesday said that TIFR was planning to commemorate the birth centenary of its founder, Dr Homi J. Bhabha, commencing from October 31 and was eager to lay the foundation stone for its Hyderabad Campus at the earliest.
