Fixed Deposits LVB hikes deposit rates Our Bureaus Coimbatore, Oct. 14 Lakshmi Vilas Bank is effecting an upward revision in its domestic deposit rate with effect from October 15. For deposits in the 181 to 270 days time bucket, the bank plans to increase it by 125 basis points to 10 per cent from the existing 8.75 per cent. Deposits maturing in the one and three-year time bucket would fetch a 50 basis point higher yield. Andhra Bank schemeHyderabad: Andhra Bank has launched a fixed and reinvestment term deposit scheme for a period of 650 days. The deposit, christened as `AB Super’, will carry 10.25 interest per annum for the amount less than Rs 15 lakh and 10.50 per cent for amount over Rs 15 lakh.The senior citizens will be offered an additional 50 bps interest.
