Call rate ends lower

Mumbai, Oct. 14

Call rates ended lower at 8.75-9 per cent, against the previous close of 9.75-10 per cent. In the one-day repo auction under the first liquidity adjustment facility (LAF), the RBI received and accepted 43 bids worth Rs 45,005 crore. There were no reverse repo bids. In the one-day repo auction under the second LAF, the RBI received and accepted 24 bids for Rs 17,800 crore. There were no reverse repo bids under the second auction. In the CBLO market, there were 359 trades am ounting to Rs 17,091.40 crore in the rate range of 8.26-9.24 per cent.
