Dr K.V. Raghavan, former Chairman, RAC (Recruitment and Assessment Committee) of the Defence Research & Development Organisation and Central Leather Research Institute (Chennai), has been conferred the FNAE distinguished professorship. He has taken up the responsibilities at the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology here. Dr Raghavan will guide a research group specialising in reaction engineering studies on green chemical processes to enhance commercial prospect. &# 8211;
