With reference to the news report on Gujarat NRE that appeared in these columns on October 15, 2008, the visit of a group of Indian journalists to Australia was sponsored by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and not by the company. The visit to the company’s colliery was part of the programme. The error is regretted.
