NIIT package for schools

New Delhi, Oct 15 NIIT has announced the launch of `NIIT eGURU’ solution, a package targeted at schools.

The products and solutions suite includes ‘Interactive Classrooms’ for teachers, ‘Math Lab’ and ‘IT Wizard’ for students and ‘Quick School’, an education resource planning solution for school management.

NIIT eGURU portfolio leverages technology from Intel and software platform from Microsoft and has been designed around the guidelines of the National Curriculum Framework 2005.

The package is priced between Rs 40 and Rs 250 per student per month, based on the components the school opts for.

“We have strengthened our school portfolio with this launch,” Mr Vijay K Thadani, CEO of NIIT Ltd, said at a conference here.
