Bangalore, Oct. 15 Bharti Airtel Ltd has awarded a six-year strategic technology outsourcing contract to its long standing partner IBM Corp on Wednesday. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed. As part of the deal, IBM’s Managed Business Process Services unit will provide sales, customer service and back office capabilities to Airtel. IBM expects to deploy over 700 employees in the first year focused on providing services in over 11 languages to Airtel’s premium customers.
