Andhra Bank unveils ‘Bima Utsav II’

Hyderabad, Oct. 16

Andhra Bank has launched ‘Bima Utsav II’ to generate fee-based income for the bank. Speaking after formally launching the programme, Mr Anil Girotra, Executive Director, Andhra Bank, said Bima Utsav I, which was conducted last year, was highly successful. “We could generate Rs 15 crore fee-based income from sale of policies. This year, our aim is to generate Rs 40 crore,” he added. Andhra Bank has tied-up with Life Insurance Corporation of India an d United India Insurance Company for cross-selling of their products and co-branding.
